War and artists. I smell a graphic novel.

I got this image from a photograph in Newsweek. There was more detail in the empty space on the left, but what struck me was the soldier's look of indifference to the scene. Just another day.

This is a quick little cartoon of Charles Schneider (actor in Black Dahlia, Beetlejuice, Ghost World) and Daniel Clowes (awesome cartoonist of Ghost World and Eightball).
